Core Values of Suwannee Weightlifting
Suwannee Weightlifting is based on the core beliefs we are better as a family than as individuals. We stand on the blue collar values of being on time, coming to work every day with the goal of making not only ourselves better but also helping everyone in the room become better, and doing it in a way that makes our community proud.
Even though we have two teams (boys and girls) that compete in two different seasons, we all train together and support each no matter whose season it is. Everything we do, we do as a family.
We take an old school approach to weightlifting and implement an Olympic based program. There are no secrets or crazy workout programs, just basic traditional style plans. Consistency is the key to success, no shortcuts or tricks.
Over the years we are proud of our success and feel it is directly attributed to this approach. As a family we have won 3 state titles, 11 regional titles, and 14 district titles. Individual champions include 15 state champions, 65 Regional Champions, and 80 District Champions.
